Rules:

  • Teams consist of a minimum of three (3) participants and no more than four (4).
    • If four participants sign up, one would be designated as a sub.
  • All three (3) participants will compete in each individual event.
  • All three (3) participants will compete in team events together.
  • Three (3) total team events.
  • Three (3) total individual events.

Scoring:

  • Five (5) events are timed individually.
    • Tug-Of-War is not timed.
  • All six (6) events are scored via point system.
  • All individuals/teams receive points for each event.
    • The individual/team with the best time receives the most amount of points available.
    • The individual/team with the worst time receives the least amount of points available.
  • For Example: If six (6) total teams are registered for the Challenge, the following scoring system is used:
    • 1st Place = 6 Points
    • 2nd Place = 5 Points
    • 3rd Place = 4 Points
    • 4th Place = 3 Points
    • 5th Place = 2 Points
    • 6th Place = 1 Points
  • The team with the most total points at the end of all six (6) events is declared the winner.

Events:

The events below are not in specific order. A schedule of events will be made available closer to the event date.

Team Event #1 = Tug-Of-War

  • All three members participate for their respective team.
  • All teams compete in double elimination tournament (random draw).
    • Each team is guaranteed to play two games in the tournament.
  • Each team will receive points dependent on it’s finish in the tournament.
    • 1st Place = 6 Points
    • 2nd Place = 5 Points
    • 3rd Place = 4 Points
    • 4th Place = 3 Points
    • 5th Place = 2 Points
    • 6th Place = 1 Points

Team Event #2 = Team Relay & Obstacle Course

  • All three members participate for their respective team.
  • The course consists of obstacles and challenges.
  • A final time is recorded upon completion of the course.
    • 5 second penalties will be assessed if errors are made along the course.
  • The full course must be completed for a team to receive a finish time
  • The team with the lowest amount of time receives the most points

Team Event #3 = Potato Sack Relay Race

  • All three team members participate in this event.
  • Each team member will hop in a potato sack for a pre-determined distance. Once the third member crosses the finish line, the event is completed.
  • A final time is recorded upon completion of the event.
  • The team with the lowest amount of time receives the most points.

Individual Event #1 = Tire Flip & Hose Run

  • A large tire will be flipped numerous times until the turnaround point is reached.
  • A Fire Hose will be dragged back toward the Finish Line.
  • A final time is recorded upon completion of the event.
  • The individual with the lowest amount of time receives the most points.

Individual Event #2 = Half Mile Run

  • An individual runs one half mile.
  • A final time is recorded upon completion of the event.
  • The individual with the lowest amount of time receives the most points.

Individual Event #3 = Strength & Endurance Circuit

  • Event includes the following exercises:
    • Dips (10 Total on a Dip Bar)
    • Push Ups (20 Total)
    • Crunches (40 Total)
    • Jump Rope (50 Total)
  • A final time is recorded upon completion of the event.
  • The individual with the lowest amount of time receives the most points.
